I specialize in developing realistic scenarios within learning modules, helping to bring the modules to life and connect them to the real-world working environment of the employees undergoing training. The modules feature a variety of interactive learning blocks and assessment questions. Below you will find examples of the work I can do using Articulate Rise and Storyline.

Audience-All employees with primarily desk bound roles.
Business problem-Employees at this office have had a spike in sedentary related illnesses, causing an increase in the number of sick days taken and insurance premium payments.
Solution-All current and new employees will complete this e-learning training in order to increase their knowledge of the health consequences of excess sitting and provide employees with strategies to reduce their risk of developing health issues.
Features-This module uses a realistic scenario throughout the training and features a branching scenario, custom buttons, layers, triggers, accordion, tabs, two knowledge checks, and slide animations.
Process-My process on this course involved in depth research on sedentary diseases and options available to office workers to reduce risk. I gained approval from managers on all activities used in the training in order to be in compliance with corporate policies while still prioritizing the health of employees.

Audience-All newly hired employees. This is to be part of the company onboarding process.
Business problem-The valet company has seen a rise in damaged vehicles, primarily by new employees, which has led to increases in customer complaints and inflated insurance costs.
Solution-As part of the company's new onboarding policy, all new hires will complete this training module in which they will learn about vehicle safety features, company policies for safely parking a car, and company policies for properly setting up a lot to ensure maximum customer, vehicle, and employee safety.
Features-A realistic scenario follows a new employee as he receives tips from an experienced valet. The module features custom buttons, triggers, layers, a demonstration video, audio, and an interactive accordion. Two knowledge checks and a 5-question scenario-based assessment with custom review layers serve to assess learning.
Process-My process for this training was to review company policies and procedures with management, which served as SMEs for the project. I then broke down the necessary safety policies, gathered appropriate pictures, and requested a short video demonstrating a vital procedure. Once all materials were gathered, I constructed the Storyline module you see here.

Audience-All employees responsible for the care of chicks while they are in the store.
Business problem-This Rise training module focuses on a local farm store that was experiencing too much dead loss during their Spring chick sale.
Solution-The company has decided to create new standards for employees to follow while they care for the chicks. This will ensure a high standard of cleanliness and care that should reduce dead loss and improve sales.
Features-This Rise module features many interactions including accordion, tabbed, and process interactions. Click to reveal flashcards, knowledge checks, and a five-question scenario-based assessment.
Process-The process for creating this training program involved reviewing existing company policies and best practices for care involving newly hatched chicks. I determined that a simple Rise module would be sufficient for this short training and that it should be taken as a refresher course each year.
